TASK 5: Learning styles

Make notes about activities you observe in the classroom, which use the learning styles below:

Auditory	The teacher shows them songs videos of counting number so the children sing the numbers and repeat with it.	They lesson to a song and sing it	They hold the book and they see the picture on it, and they do not interested in because they don’t know how to read it.	Children play some games in computer.
Visual	They enjoy watching videos and sing the songs.	They like watching videos and some times she put for them sound of the weather.	They don’t enjoyed in reading the stories, but if the teacher read for them and show them the picture they will enjoy, but they get bored quickly. Kinesthetic	They like cutting and they like drawing.	They observed, listened and were actively involved in activities.	They just move to the reading center, they don’t do any thing.	Children use computers and some of them change the game and go to different computer.

Which learning styles did all the children seem to enjoy and why?

Kinesthetic learning is the best for children because they like to learn with doing and they like to move.

Why do you think the teacher incorporates a variety of learning styles for the children?

Incorporates a variety of learning styles are very important because not all the children learn in the same way and to learn in each center and to do more activity.

Notice which activities are repeated with a variety of learning styles e.g. read a story, listen to a story, act the story, draw the story. Can you find other examples e.g. math or science?

In Math, 4 children’s in group they do the number of the week in paper, some of them count by cube, and some the teacher wrote for them the number in their note book.

In science, 4 children’s are put the picture for clothes in each season.

How can teachers improve student learning by using a range of learning styles?

 First of all children have the same thinking or how they learn, because of that teachers need to use range of learning styles and also to remove boredom from them. Children can’t focus in one style for 1 hour.
